Steamboat Springs

This morning we drove from Grand Lake over to Steamboat Springs. Much to the littles delight it was an easy 2 hours on the road. Big Sister shared her baby doll with Little Bud on the ride, and he was a happy little guy holding onto the poor baby's hair and sucking his thumb. Big Sister's baby doll might need a hair transplant in the near future, but whatever keeps our Little Bud happy on the road is worth it!

Once we arrived at the campground, Big Sister immediately spotted the playground and the pool. After some play time on on the playground, we drove into Steamboat Springs to walk around and check out a few of the shops. We spent a bit of time at the pool before heading back for another round at the playground. Our campsite backs up to the Yampa River, so we're planning to eat dinner outside tonight.

Tomorrow we're headed to Salt Lake to visit the Sandors. We're so glad our trip times coincided, especially since we both have added new little ones to our families since we last visited. As long as we get an early start, we're planning to stop by Dinosaur National Monument on our way.
