Driving

We drove over 1,400 miles in 3 days! We left our house on Saturday afternoon and arrived in Grand Lake, Colorado early Monday evening. The drive was interesting to say the least! Both of our families came over to see us off, and Big Sister had a hard time leaving everyone behind. She was quite emotional for the rest of the day. Little Bud was a travel trooper the first day, but was unusually fussy day 2. That night I realized he had a good reason for being upset; his second tooth was making an entrance. Just in case you ever wondered, teething infants and road trips don't go well together. We were all glad to get off the road and get set up at out first campground!

Colorado is beautiful and the weather is glorious! We enjoyed a great day at Rocky Mountain National Park today, and can't wait to explore more of it tomorrow.
