Newborn Photo Session

Jamie's super talented friend took Little Bud's newborn pictures when he was about a week old.  At the time, she was in the middle of graduating with her art degree, and then started graduate school soon after.  All that to say, we just got the CD this past weekend.  The pictures are amazing, and I'm so happy to have them!  My heart is full of joy when I look at these pictures; Big Sister and Little Bud are the most wonderful and perfect blessings!  The only problem is, they're growing up way too fast!  I can't believe how much they both have grown and changed in 9 short months.

Notice Little Miss Sassy in the background :)

one of my favorites of the four of us

This bowl was given to my parents by a very special lady; she isn't
technically a relative, but she's been part of our family
since I was a baby.  We miss you Nana Joyce!
I know that you would have loved to cuddle with our Little Bud!

Already a sweet "Big Sister"

I love these of John holding Little Bud.

I love this one!

So special!

Annual Christmas Pictures

Every year since Big Sister was a baby, I've taken her around Christmas time to Portrait Innovations to have her pictures taken.  This year Little Bud got in on the fun too!  The photographer did a great job, capturing lots of smiles and giggles.

I love this one!

My favorite of Little Bud!
Every time I see this picture, my heart melts a little!

My favorite picture of Big Sister.
She has grown so much since last Christmas!

My favorite of the two of them.
I'm so thankful for the sweet little ones God has blessed us with!

Santa

This past Saturday, we went to breakfast with Santa.  Gigi and Papa Dean (John's Mom's parents), who are visiting from New Hampshire, joined in on the fun!  Big Sister shared her Christmas list with Santa; here's what she's asking for this year:

"Mouse People" (more animal friends for her Cozy Critter House)
"Stripey" Scarf (like the one Aunt Jamie has - we're not entirely sure which scarf she's talking about)
Special Princess Necklace
Princess Book
Tinkerbell Umbrella

When people have asked her what she wants for Christmas, she's been consistent with requesting the items from her list.  Hopefully she won't create another Christmas Eve panic, like she did last year, by telling us (on Christmas Eve!) what she was sure Santa was bringing her (a doll and a dinosaur - neither of which were under the tree for her!).  Thanks again to Grams, Papa and Jamie for getting us out of that bind!

The night before our breakfast with Santa, we went to a local church that was hosting a walk through Bethlehem Village.  Big Sister enjoyed going from place to place, looking for Mary and Joseph and Baby Jesus.
