First Hike of the Season

This past weekend the weather was wonderful! We spent some time working in the yard, getting everything spiffed up for Big Sister and Little Bud's joint birthday party next weekend. In between all of the work, we decided to hike down to Peavine Falls and take the littles to the park. Thanks to all of the rain we've had lately, the waterfall was flowing nicely.  This was Big Sister's first hike out of the backpack (she did pretty well; hiked most of the trail on her own). Little Bud was happy to take her place perched high on Daddy's back!

Getting a good picture of these two is a challenge;

especially with Little Bud's bad habit of pinching, squeezing and scratching.
