Rawls Family Christmas

This year, we decided to break outside of the Christmas Day box and celebrate Christmas with my family a few days before the actual holiday.  Mentally it was a little weird for me, since it wasn't actually Christmas Day, but it might have been the nicest, most relaxed Christmas we've celebrated in a while.  We usually get together on Christmas morning, so Jamie wanted to stick with our Christmas morning traditions of cinnamon rolls (I made pumpkin apple cinnamon monkey bread this year) and peach baked oatmeal.  We also had some lunchtime snacks for later in the day (opening presents is hard work, so you need extra calories for endurance!).  Big Sister said her favorite gifts were her stamping kits and her fuzzy slippers (she also LOVED her Small World dolls!), and Little Bud has already clocked some miles on his new plane!

his favorite toy of the day!

She was so excited about her Small World dolls :)
