Christmas Morning

We spent Christmas morning at home with our little family.  The kids were up early (not due to Christmas excitement, they've just been waking up WAY too early lately!).  Once Big Sister realized Christmas Day was FINALLY here, she was so excited to see what Santa brought and to open her presents from us (she'd been eyeing them under the tree for almost a month!).  Little Bud was happy to eat as much wrapping paper as he could get his hands on.  After we were done opening stockings and presents, Papa Jim, Grams and Jamie came over to check everything out and to join us for what is becoming our traditional Christmas morning breakfast of baked peach oatmeal and homemade cinnamon rolls (although this year I made monkey bread).

Everything set up to go on Christmas Eve!

Big Sister's presents from Santa

She kept asking Little Bud for "help" opening her gifts

This is how he "helped" her open them :)

Opening presents from family in New Hampshire

This was one of Little Bud's favorite gifts (Big Sister likes it a lot too!)

She was so happy; she gave him such a big hug!

Reading a story from her "Princess Book" (this was one of the things on her "list")

The first clue in her scavenger hunt to find her special gift

4 clues later, she found it!  Her own special chair!

Chew the paper until it disintegrates :)

Talking Peppa Pig from Papa and Grams

She was sooo excited about her Peppa car!
